This years chosen charity is the “Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation” (JDRF) which is a research charity trying to find a cure for Childhood Diabetes. https://jdrf.org.uk/
They fund research to cure, treat and prevent type 1 diabetes. They work with government, academia and industry to accelerate research and healthcare policy in the UK. And they give support and a voice to people with type 1 and their families.
Throughout the year Phil (Chairman) is taking part in various challenges to help raise money for this charity.
At Shays Farm over Easter Phil ran round the field 3 times, dressed up at the Easter Bunny and raised £59. A good start to the fundraising.
