This year’s AGM is being held at Cranage Village Hall on Saturday 23rd April at 4pm. Anybody who wishes to stay for the Chairmans Dinner should RSVP by end March 2022 please. Camping is also available and can’t wait to catch up with everybody!
We will also be holding a raffle and would be grateful for any prizes you can donate.
You do not need to book any of our meets this year. However, it will help the Stewards greatly if you can book a pitch for our fabulous Temporary Holiday Sites (THS). This also applies for Delamere Club Site as we can increase our booking, if demand is high – prepayment is required . No deposit required for THS’s but please let us know if you can no longer attend so we can accomodate another happy camper.

Sadly we have been unable to find enough stewards for this event and have had to reluctantly cancel the event. Understandably, the land owner was less than happy so if any other DA is interested in using this site in August, please contact Ron Tyson on 01772 814075.
BAD NEWS- Due to a change in staff and an almighty admin error, they have no booking for us. The rally field is 3ft high so they offered to accommodate us on the camping field but wanted an almighty £20 pun!In the interests of our members, we have decided to walk away from their offer. GOOD NEWs is we’ve been able to find another venue at short notice – well done Mr Chairman. We are off to Holmston Hall which is between Winsford & Tarporley and has on site fishing available ( at extra cost)Cost pun is just £10 and we really hope you will join us. You may be wondering why you need to book? Simply to ensure we have space for everybody as some sites have limited capacity. It also helps us comply with any track n trace requirements. Two reasons: We can’t be sure the event can go ahead till nearer the time; we want to give everybody a fair chance and avoid No shows/phantom bookings.So bookings for our 1st event at Eccleshall Castle will open at 9am Sunday 11th April as previously stated on the website. Plus I think Andy deserves a Saturday night off! Last year we had to cancel meets due to Covid, we really don’t want to cancel this year, because we don’t have a steward. So if you’d like to camp for free, then why not steward a meet or THS. Regarding Lansdowne, we’re not expecting 1 steward to do the full 3 weeks. It works well if we can get pairs of stewards to do a week each so you get alternate days off.* Basically we’re open to any offers of help. *free camping is for 1 unit so this is split where 2 units share stewarding duties.

The Camping & Caravanning Club have said meets can resume after 12th April 2021 when restrictions on using “self contained holiday accomodation” are lifted. The rule of 6 will still apply outdoors until May 17th and we are waiting for further guidelines on how to run meets but we may have to run our events as BOOKED “pop up campsites”.

We need a minimum of 15 attendees to meet the quorate requirements but have calculated we have 8 committee members plus partners. We are also required to confirm your membership, so please attach a photo of your membership card please. You will also need to download the Zoom software.
